Candy Cane Lane is the ultimate easy family holiday free hand knitted hat! This hand knit hat can be made in three different sizes and in two different ways - folded brim or beanie style - affectionately called his and hers! Holding yarns double to create a luscious soft fabric - everyone is going to ask for one. I hope you enjoy! - Katie
Materials:
Yarn:
- 100g DK Boucle
- 100g Worsted Weight
*Both are held together (2 strands of each are held together throughout pattern.) See notes page 3.
Yarns used in sample:
- Summer Camp Fibers Boucle DK in Christmas Salsa 100g/240 yds
- Summer Camp Fibers Marshmallow Worsted in Commando 100g/218yds
Needles:
- Size US 11 / 8mm 16" Circular Needle
- Size US 11 / 8mm Double Pointed Needle
- Size L or 8mm Crochet Hook OR the crochet hook from The Knit & Crochet Kit Gauge: 9.5 Stitches and 17 Rounds = 4" over straight stitch knit in the round
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Child Small Beanie - approx 8” x 8”Child Small Fold Over Brim: 8” x 10.25”
Child Large Beanie- approx 8.5” x 8” Child Large Fold Over Brim: 8.5” x 10.25”
Adult Beanie - approx 8.75” x 8.5”
Adult Fold Over Brim: 8.75” x 11”
